I’m curious how difficult it was to allow Mizzou to remain in the conference for wrestling for those remaining schools.
I get there’s not as many wrestling programs, and I’m not sure there’s another program in the SEC, but when you choose to abandon the conference it just seems like it may have taken some coaxing to get them to allow Mizzou to be a part.

Missouri I believe is the only SEC school that has a wrestling program.
Back in the old Big 8/Big XII ISU, OSU, and OU were the dominate programs. Mizzou was the runt. I wonder if this is an indication of SEC money making a program better?

There is such a paucity of college wrestling programs now, I imagine the B12 schools were glad to accept the Mizzou program. And thread to keep college wrestling alive.

I'm no wrestling guy, but it's ridiculous that we don't have a men's and women's wrestling program. The cost would not be all that much and the number of all American wrestlers leaving the state because there is no Div I wrestling program is pathetic.
