I guess the AD at Mizzou was the same AD that hired her at UNLV. Still kind of a hard pill to take that she wouldn't come back to KSU. Maybe not enough $$$ (she wouldn't be cheap for sure) or didn't like the way Fritz was let go. Hope KSU announcement is coming soon .

Why is there something rather than nothing?
Michigan let their coach go as well (just announced). So really Washington, Kansas State, Arizona State, and Michigan are on the clock.
Gene did a good job letting Fritz go early so we could get a coach early and have a good staff in place. This also would give time for the players to that want to leave a chance to leave at semester if that is what they wanted to do. Process seems to be taking longer than expected.

Wow...this is taking way too long. Likely original targets didn't want to coach here for the $$ that was being offered. Gene is making it more difficult on the incoming coach waiting this late as well as the current players that may not fit with what the new coach plans. We have some obvious holes that need to be improved from the portal and a small incoming class.
now we have the coach. who is going to leave and stay and who can he get in the portal to help us out to get better for next year.
