KSU walks off KU at Rock Chalk Park in the last minute of Overtime Extra Minutes. Great shot off the right post of the goal.

Thank you for posting this. That was a huge win and puts us at 3-2-1 against KU and in a good position to make our first big 12 playoffs with wins over ISU and/or OU.
Last night KSU tied #9 West Virginia 1-1. I know what people think about ties, but this was huge for a number of reasons- it gives us an extra point in the standings, which would put us above a tie at 3 or 6 points to get into the conference tournament. It is also a result (win or tie) against a team that has been a national power in recent years. Also, you can't help but hope that, with the portal success we have had one of West Virginia's (and probably the nation's best players, freshman Dilary Heredia-Beltran of Olathe North may consider coming home at some point. (no reason to believe that this would happen, but it would be nice!)
To be clear we are not as good as they are- and are probably a notch below KU as well. But the program keeps getting better and four points against teams other than Oklahoma and ISU gives us a great opportunity to take that next step into the Big 12 tournament.

Last game of the regular season tonight at home against Iowa State. Win or tie (with a KU loss) and we are in the Big 12 tournament - lose and we are out. Big game tonight!
