"Britain’s greatest horsewoman said she was “deeply ashamed” by her “error of judgement” in a coaching session “from four years ago”.
The footage showed Dujardin hitting the horse with a long whip during a lesson with a 19-year-old female student at her private stable - with the whistleblower being a sponsor of the girl who was riding the horse in the video."
She has been pulled from Paris and her nomination to be a "DAME" has been stopped.
I would have been flogged by the Brits for the way I have loaded cattle into trucks.

The opening ceremony for the Olympics was a true spectacle which was high lighted by Celine Dion's amazing and powerful performance of “L’Hymne à l’amour” atop the Eifel Tower. Some of it seemed a little too PC but overall it was great.

I didn't watch it, but I did see that there was a lot of controversy about some parts of the opening ceremony. In one instance, the performers were apparently mocking Christianity by portraying an obese woman as Jesus and 12 drag queens as the 12 Apostles singing and dancing in their parody of the Last Supper. Some guy painted blue and wearing nothing more than a flower sash and a sock for his genitals was lying on a table as part of the meal. There was another drag queen doing some sort of song and dance, as well. I heard they were also dancing with young children. Pretty disgusting, but not surprising given our current environment.

we went to mass last night in brandon, mn. the young priest asked rhetorically, "i wonder why they mock christians at the olympics and not muslims or jews?" he then went on to say, "they must have missed how the story ended."
the mass - for non-catholics here - is symbolic in parts of the last supper. thus many christians believe the olympics' thingy was sacrilegious.
i don't give them that much credit, thinking instead it was typical leftist nonsense. it is another reason why i don't watch anything associated with the olympics other than the golf competition.
i was hoping pope francis might say something. but that would be above expectations if he did.

I think we all know why they didn't do a parody of Mohammed or Islam. Paris would be burning right now -- literally. Tens of thousands of Muslims would be rioting as we speak. And there would be mass protests and rioting in every major Western city around the world.tmcats wrote: ↑July 28th, 2024, 11:23 amwe went to mass last night in brandon, mn. the young priest asked rhetorically, "i wonder why they mock christians at the olympics and not muslims or jews?" he then went on to say, "they must have missed how the story ended."

The guy who produced this said he just wanted "inclusivity." Right.

Sadly, I agree on Pope Francis. He will probably be forced to say something. I'm glad other Church leaders are speaking out.

Thank goodness the Italian girl had the good sense to quit against the Trans girl. That could have been dangerous.
I know I am an old white crib Catholic from Central Kansas, but I do not understand why in the hell WOMEN are allowing this?

It's sick and pathetic the sports world is allowing this to happen. You're correct WE......where are the women fighting against this other than Riley Gaines??!! I remember the big women's liberation movement in the 70's and 80's.....why aren't any of them speaking out now??!! I know why, but I'm not going to elaborate because it will delve too much into politics.WildcatEngineer wrote: ↑August 1st, 2024, 10:38 pmThank goodness the Italian girl had the good sense to quit against the Trans girl. i have not watched more than a few minutes and just the summary of golf because it was hidden somehow by nbc so no one could see it, probably pay to watch or something. anyway, loved seeing scotty take down liv in the olympics and then shed a tear during the anthem afterwards.
