Seems Harris knows very little about what is possible in rural communities

Seems Harris knows very little about what is possible in rural communities

Post by spot2180 » July 12th, 2021, 6:06 am

Ok, so folks in rural America are rubes and just can't figure out how to use a copy machine. Well gaw-aww-leee.

Man, does she do the smart party proud!!!

"I don't think that we should underestimate what that could mean," Harris told BET. "Because in some people's minds, that means well, you're going to have to Xerox or photocopy your ID to send it in to prove that you are who you are."
"Well," she continued, "there are a whole lot of people, especially people who live in rural communities—there's no Kinkos, there's no Office Max near them. People have to to understand that when we're talking about voter ID laws, be clear of who you have in mind and what would be required of them to prove who they are."
"Of course people have to prove who they are," she said, "but not in a way that makes it almost impossible for them to prove who they are."
She likely had to hold back on saying that rural hayseed types don't have shoes and can't walk on gravel roads or black tops, so they are essentially trapped in their sod houses and unable to use a copier much less purchase a printer/copier for $35.

I want to see the direct quote or video clip where she says that they "don't know how"

Read better. Opening post. Quote. But you knew that.

Read better, that's not what the quote says.

Try again.

I see. Democrats MUST be taken at the words they speak. No variations away from the exact words they speak. The racist things Joe Biden says aren't racist though, so he doesn't count. Just ignore that. Every other democrat's quotes? No nuance. No code words. JUST the words they say.

Meanwhile, conservatives' words must be parsed, and reparsed. Nearly everything they say is racist, so one must LOOK for every little code word, every little 'dog whistle'. Even the nuances are racist. RACIST!!!

Face it, willie. She thinks you are a dumbass. You can't find an Office Depot. You are incapable of buying a 40 dollar printer at Walmart. Hell, you wouldn't know how to use it anyway. You are a hayseed, born and raised in fly-over country.

You know, guys, it is ok to say that a politician is capable of saying stupid things. Hell, Trump did it all the time. He was his own worst enemy. In fact, I'd rather he not run in 2024. See how easy that was? You can say Kamala Harris was a moron for saying what she said about rural communities. Oh I know you won't. You guys come out and say all the time that you aren't socialists, but there isn't a socialist that you won't defend, much less vote for.
