"Obama reportedly also views Trump as an existential threat to American democracy, “even making an oblique reference to Nazi Germany” during one of the conversations,” according to the Times.

“The endpoint of that we saw in Europe 60 years ago, 70 years ago — what happens when those things get unleashed,” Obama reportedly said during one of the conversations. “You don’t nip that in the bud, bad things can happen. Among the most quote unquote civilized societies.”

I privately think Obama was/is a traitor based on one action of his administration. What other name can you give to someone who facilitated a gift of billions of dollars in cold hard cash to Iran -- a terrorist state and sworn mortal enemy of the U.S. and its ally Israel ?

Yeah, but don't you remember how grateful the Iranians were for those pallets of cash, as they were chanting "Death to America!" and "Death to Israel!"? ;-)

I don't hate Obama.

He was misled from an early age by Frank Marshall Davis during a time when he was very impressionable. Any one wanting to do any searching knows he spoke as a mild leftist, but ruled as a more left leftie. He is smart. He knew socialism couldn't be forced on us, but I think he has become more aggressive with his leftist leanings because TRump has undone a lot of it. He sees the riots and the media thinking that things aren't going Trump's way. He sees an opportunity to get us back on that road to socialism.

I think he is over estimating America's zeal to be told what to do and how to think. Hopefully that shows up in November.

I remember hearing about Barack's vision for America as a huge umbrella where it is all organized from the top down. This may appeal to some but I saw it immediately as a huge infringement on our rights. Big and all encompassing centralized government. Most likely a loss of most of the freedoms we now enjoy. Not sure if I saw a video where he was talking about this or if I read it in his "Audacity of Hope" book. A book I think would have been better named "the Audacity of Fluff".
