Re: I want Coach Tang to stay. I think the world of him.

I don't think anyone here is suggesting Tang is perfect. He'd be the first one to tell you he is not. You'd rather have a coach that doesn't 'sell' his program? You don't think Weber tried to sell his program to recruits and the fans? Rhetoric? Religious expression? Are you not seeing those two as ...

Re: Who will be the new Kentucky basketball coach

Quick status synopsis. Kentucky wants Scott Drew and offered him the Kentucky job. The question is does he want it? So does he perceive it is God's will for him to go or could this be a test from God? I think Baylor will pony up and do their best to keep Drew in Waco. A lot of good coaches have tur...

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/womens-ncaa-final-bigger-tv-ratings-than-mens-first-time-1235870291/ First time in history Women had more viewers than men. It was well deserved. I give Caitlyn Clark and Angel Reese credit for that. Their rivalry created the interest. But I'm afraid Daw...

Re: I want Coach Tang to stay. I think the world of him.

And if Tang was as big a charlatan as he is being made out to be, learnin, his blatant display of behavior that would be deemed un-Christian-like would be all over the news, don't you think? So far, that has not happened. There are so many things in this world that are so much more offensive, I str...

Re: 2024 NCAA Tournament

I thought it fun to watch two skilled bigs get after each other. The traditional posts have taken a back seat recently to those 'stretch 4s' that hang out around the three point line. Skilled bigs can take you to the championship game because stretch 4s just aren't physical enough to guard them. On...

Re: I want Coach Tang to stay. I think the world of him.

I think Drew will be offered some kind of extension at Baylor to match whatever Kentucky is asking. I think it will be Pitino or Pearl or Lloyd.

With due respect to the previous posts, I am glad Alabama lost. With the SEC and Big Ten trying to corner the market in college sports, the last thing I wanted to see was a Big Ten vs. SEC final in the NCAA Tourney.
And that is the reason I am pulling for UCONN.

I am glad the tournament is almost over. The tv ads that come with it are horrible.

Re: Arkansas

I am glad Tang is staying. I have a feeling that he wanted to stay, so I imagine that he got some assurances first...and then there was the money. People higher up in the university need to stop picking at the scab of the Linton-Tomilin affair. It's over. Move on.
