Under 2000 known cases in the US. In a country of 350? million. I'd bet my farm that there are tens if not hundreds of thousands who are now carrying the virus and have no clue. Death rate of 2% of known cases. So you don't visit Grandma and Grandpa in the nursing home for awhile.

MSHSAA is continuing their basketball tournament. 150 wristbands per school. No 3rd place games. Don't know if they'll clean the arena after every game or not.

Can't speak for the rules committee but if the nails are deemed dangerous, that player can't play. Again leave it up to the game officials rather than taking care of it where it should be, in the administrative channels.
