Re: Depth Chart

Sproles is #1 in my opinion, followed by Deuce. They both were so elusive with great routes, didn't put it on the ground, and put an extreme amount of pressure on the entire defense because he had break away speed. Giddens is fantastic, and does those things well too, but if I'm a defensive coordin...

Re: Portal 2024

Cole Manbeck is reporting Dug McDaniel is a Cat. Big time pickup. My brother, a NUb homer and watched a lot of Big Ten bball, said that Dug is a legit scorer who was on a sucky team. I've read multiple places that he doesn't guard worth a plug nickel though. That concerns me. Not "red alert" concer...

Re: Portal 2024

You do realize that KU has a tradition rich venue, multiple national titles, and one of the top x's and o's coaches in the game (I can't stand the slimy SOB, but still... ) to help seal deals, correct? Sheesh, as much as I hate it, the selling points aren't even close. Of course we're going to have...

Re: Portal 2024

Recruiting and landing are two different things. We are getting players to come visit, but they just move on to somewhere else. Meanwhile, 2 desired players visit KU and they land them before these players leave. I heard Tang say that we have NIL money, and if he can get players in he can convince ...

Re: Depth Chart

that receiving corps of brown, cephas, johnson, with oakley at tight end could be the best ever at this school. plus, giddens has shown a lot of game out of the backfield. Mr Giddens, might very well be the BEST receiving RB in the history of KSU. I go back to Mack Herron, Sproles, Deuce, etc., tho...

Re: KSU players (pretend wager)....

I hear ya, but just seems our fanbase is really quick to jump on others for not believing in our program, but we, ourselves are our biggest enemies. Seems as if we're afraid of being a "dawg". We wanna be the cute little puppy and sneak up on people, then whine when others don't respect us. I'm sooo...

Re: Portal 2024

I saw Coach Tang get quoted recently that College Recruiting goes through phases. The "Facility" phase is done. We are now in the "NIL" phase. I know this touches on politics, which is a no-no. But is anyone reminding 2024 student-athletes the value of a DEGREE? In 2024 what is the lifetime earning...

Way too early for these dreams... relax and wait till the season starts and see how game one goes...
Ah, yes.... Temper any off season enthusiasm for the program. :banghead:

Avery will get 24 TDs, but not 24 through the air. Over half of his TDs will be with his legs.
Oh, no doubt he'll get 15-20 TD's on the ground, but I have a hunch our passing game is going to be more than what we are used to as KState fans.

Wouldn't touch the Avery passing TD. With the way they run the ball with Giddens and Avery, no way I see him setting a passing TD record his first year starting.
That would tie it and I think it's attainable. New OC with a new philosophy and finally some speed and size.
