Re: Who’s the next coach

When Weber was hired, we were coming off the best 5-year stretch we'd had in 20+ years and excitement was high. Then, we hired a coach who had just been fired for a 5-year stretch of relative averageness (2 NCAA tourneys in 5 years, under .500 conference record, etc.). Setting aside whether you do/d...

Re: Good guys vs Ole Miss

Looking at the box score is just depressing... Ez, Massoud and Bradford combined to play 27 minutes and somehow managed to pull down zero rebounds (and Lindguard wasn't much better with 2 rebounds in 17 minutes). If that's not an indictment of Weber having lost this team (at least in terms of effort...

Re: Good guys vs Ole Miss

Philosophical question: if you can't make a shot (any shot), is there such a thing as a bad shot?

Re: Good guys vs Ole Miss

We have got to be among the NCAA leaders in missed shots within 2-3 feet of the basket. Just cannot finish.

Re: New Transfer - Will Honas

I'm not pointing fingers at anyone specificly (not K-State as a program, not any posters on the board, etc.), but when you see these kinds of tactics by coaching staffs - and, make no mistake, it's prevalent throughout college football - it boggles my mind why some people object to the student-athle...

Re: texas game on lhn ...

For anyone with ESPN+ it's worth trying to see if you can watch the game. For the men's game on LHN, I assumed I couldn't. But, many people without a LHN subscription were able to watch it via ESPN+/ESPN3.

So, it's worth a shot...

Re: Bruce Weber

Last post since this is the b-ball board, but the recommendation that Weber serve some ambassador capacity while others said that would be uncomfortable for a new staff. Clearly he wouldn’t do that because he’s going to be bolting Manhattan ASAP or be escorted out by a few of you. But Prince did in...

Re: The "way too early to tell" 2022 K-State Baseball Thread

I don't know why, but I had it in my head we had more pitching coming back. I'm not too worried about the offensive production, but I hope Hughes found some quality arms.

Re: Bruce Weber

It would be tough to reserach, but would be interesting to see if another power 5 coach has multiple conference titles AND multiple last-place conference finishes at the same school. Or, if a power 5 coach followed a conference title with back-to-back last/next-to-last conference finishes (with that...
