Re: Welcome to the Big XII, Brad.
Watching Blunderwood get schooled by an old pro was enjoyable. What a clinic. Sampson knows how to coach basketball, that’s for sure. I can’t imagine Illinois will stick with Blunderwood much longer. He inherited a loaded roster, has the best player in college basketball, and has won 1 tourney game...

Re: Who’s the next coach
As someone who lives near UGA, no amount of money will revive that program. We are light years ahead of that basketball program. And atmosphere. No amount of money??? I bet Self would make them a winner in 2 years. Bill Self would never coach there though. They’ve just got a lot of work to do is al...

Re: Who’s the next coach
Starting to see a lot of job openings pile up. 2 best jobs are Louisville and Maryland (provided Maryland doesn’t retain Manning which I don’t think they will). Then you have us, LSU, Georgia and Mizzou. Everyone who is a candidate for our job will prob be candidates for LSU, Georgia and Mizzou. Wi...

Re: 5 on 8 In Lawrence
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJQLUMkpZH4 I am an old ref. I normally defend refs. What totally ticked me off about the non-Travel call, is the ball was never put back into play. Any of the 3 refs even after they went to the monitor could have called travelling. It would have been a late whistle ...

Re: Building team depth
EA sports doesn’t make NCAA games any longer and hasn’t for years. One thing that probably needs to change is these athletics programs need to lose their non-profit status as their main purpose will be to make money, not public good. They’ve been walking on thin ice for a while, one reason Emmett h...

Re: Building team depth
EA sports would sell 10s of millions of copies of NCAA football. At $60 a pop, that’s $600,000,000 per year of which no athlete has ever been compensated for. That’s one example of many. In any other industry, if someone makes millions on your NIL then you get compensated for it. I know tmcats does...

Re: Building team depth
Exactly right. Although I suspect that you might think it’s okay for a school, athletic department, and apparel agency to take advantage of an athletes NIL and never compensate the athlete. And then call that “ethical.” Something something “loyalty to the school.” so, once again you build a straw m...
