Re: Donavan Williams - Do these guys know something?
so, what will the response be here if d'williams doesn't commit here but goes orange? whew! haters gotta be hangin' in the weeds ready to lurch on this one. I’d be upset, but I think it wouldn’t be the end of the world. I don’t know if it’s just me but I’m a little worried about a few of thes...

Re: Donavan Williams - Do these guys know something?
I think the coach relationship with basketball players is probably stronger then with football as well due to the number of recruits. In football, there is probably a stronger relationship with an assistant coach targeted for that area because it's hard for the HC to build a relationship with the 70...

Re: Competition for playing time will be fierce
merriweather comes up not because he wasn't a good kid or tough baller but because he played ahead of 4* freshman rodney mcgruder in the classic ncaa sweet 16 match v. xavier. 16 minutes for chris versus 2 for rodney. thus, all these incoming 4* guys may find themselves playing behind d'gordon, mik...

Why do people keep comparing this to the flu? The flu has a vaccine, COVID does not. The flu is not as contagious as COVID The reason we are social distancing is not because of the death rate as it stands now, it's to prevent the medical system from getting more overloaded then it is now. Because fo...

Re: Competition for playing time will be fierce
Regarding Merriweather and Colon. Every minute they got was too many for me. Yet KSU won an absolute classic sweet 16 game, its reasonable to acknowledge a fantastic ncaa tourney game under someone other than weber. Merriewether only got 8.1 mpg. Not sure why anyone would be upset with him given he...

Re: Donavan Williams - Do these guys know something?
Maybe a person who knows about recruiting can answer this question. If Player tells the Coach at University A: "Thank you for recruiting me. You have a great program but I have decided to sign with University B." Does the Coach at University A continue to recruit Player until he actually signs with...

Re: Donavan Williams - Do these guys know something?
Are we really bagging on a kid for not publicly announcing his decision over Easter weekend? He said he already told the coaches his decision, so how is that not being committed? Maybe he just didn't want to get interview requests over Easter weekend, and even if he wants some attention for his deci...

Re: Next Seasons Scheduled Games
Big12/SEC Challenge (Home, Probably) We don't know who were playing yet but it should be a home game, so that's fun! We do know that it won't be Missouri, Vandy, Georgia, or Ole Miss because they won't qualify. Probably won't be Kentucky, LSU, or Auburn as they'll be headed to play teams at the top...

Re: Competition for playing time will be fierce
I would bet someone gets a redshirt. I would bet on Seryee Lewis being that guy. Lowest rated player on a loaded freshman class that needs to be evened out and at a position that has a bit of depth and needs a strong body so he could use an extra year of S&T.
