Re: Ranking the Worse KSU Basketball Coaches
I’m curious about the Kruger talk. I’ve never heard about this. I was shocked when he left K-State for Florida.

Re: so, who the best to have ever played here?
5 best - Boozer, Mike Evans, Blackman, Richmond, Beasley. No telling how much Evans would have scored with 3 point line I had a front row seat (literally) on a night in the mid 80's when Mike Evans was on Denver and went on a fourth quarter scoring spree against a really good Mavs team for a come f...

Re: RIP KC Jones
Definitely a class act as a player and coach. I was shocked that his lifetime FG% was 38% and FT% was 64%. Defense and playmaker were his tickets. I remember him coaching the Bullets in the NBA Finals against Al Attles Warriors. Might be my imagination, but it sure seems like we have lost a lot of ...

Re: College football playoff...
I'm stumped as to what the criteria is with this playoff selection. In basketball it is clear cut, be the conference champion (most leagues have a tourney that determines the official automatic bid) and then at large generally based on some merit. This whole football deal is completely bonkers. I di...

Re: i post this for reflection about coaching changes ...
i see Brent Bielema got the illinois job. not sure about that one. highly successful at Wisconsin. failed at Arkansas. but i like brent's style of play. big backs. run the ball. he'll be interesting to watch. I feel like this will be good fit. He is from Illinois, played at Iowa and has pretty good...

Re: i post this for reflection about coaching changes ...
The upside of economic inequality is billionaires with big egos. 21 million is pocket change. I wonder if Auburn knows their next direction? Venables would be an option. I heard on the Paul Finebaum show today the leading candidate was their DC Kevi Steele, who had a rough time as Head Coach at Bay...

Re: i post this for reflection about coaching changes ...
At one time coaches were generally given the length of a contract to perform well (sometimes small improvements) or else they would make a change. As well, coaches maybe were a little more loyal to employers. I'll be surprised if the next Auburn coach is as succesful as Gus was. Sometimes you have t...

Re: Recruit the Transfer Portal
yep, guys like james gilbert, briley moore, arthur brown, chris harper, sean snyder - all those guys and many more started elsewhere but made big contributions here at k-state. txt's chris beard is building a basketball program with transfers. it's the future, sadly. tmcats, Was Sean Snyder a trans...
