Re: Barry Brown Jr
Agree. Much praise for Barry tonight. This is where he showed his maturity: had lots of easy opportunities in the first 15 minutes because of the way they were playing him. They adjusted and took those easy buckets away. The old Barry would have kept forcing it. Tonight Barry made the right plays a...

Re: Barry Brown Jr
Agreed Dave. Barry played within himself tonight. Scored in the paint where he is best off the dribble. And guarded his butt off. That's his game. Play your own game and don't try to play it for others. Everybody played to their strengths tonight!!! Agreed Puff. If we see a change in Brown and a gr...

Re: Barry Brown Jr
We're a better team when Barry Brown shares the ball, takes fewer 3's and plays to his strengths. That's something he has not always done. If he's turned a corner in that regard, I applaud him. We are also a better team with our current lineup. We now have a more confident and aggressive Dean Wade, ...

Re: stokes out indefinitely ...
Have we missed him yet? If you say yes, then I guess that means we would have beaten KU in Lawrence with Stokes playing. But that scenario takes away the fabulous game played by Diarra, who brought us back from 11 points down in the second half with a flurry of scoring. Could Stokes have done that ...

Re: WVU chokes. .................again
Watching his teams play is like nails on a chalkboard to me but what a great coach (not pope). If Weber said things like that he'd be accused of "throwing the kids under the bus". Then again, Huggins didn't bring Franchilla into the debate either. Are you kidding me? If Weber went on a 15 minute ra...

Re: i'm embarrassed for k-state fans ...
Frank Martin was one of us. He didn't look like us, or act like us, or talk like us, but he was absolutely one of us. His teams played tough, they looked tough, they were tough. Frank pulled himself up by the bootstraps, we appreciated that. Sure he needed to mature, but there is no reason he could...

Re: Do as Carter does - by the numbers.
It's really funny that a certain poster has to bring this thread back because West Virginia didn't beat KU last night, and Carter couldn't do what he did against us. Well, crow all you want, but the bottom line is, Carter and WVU kicked OUR a$$. And WVU, with Carter, whipped KU 3 out of his 4 years ...

Re: Do as Carter does - by the numbers.
This is laughable. I don't care what "grade" they are in. If we had Carter, we'd be undefeated in the conference. People who use stats to compare players are delusional. The bottom line is this - what point guard helps you win games, and which one doesn't. Post again when Stokes is either on the Woo...

Re: Do as Carter does - by the numbers.
Any thoughts about "Do as Carter does" after the WVUs loss to KU last night. Carter jacked up three long range guarded threes inside 1.5 minutes when KU led by three. Kept the ball and dribbled around the perimeter before launching them. 4 for 15 in the game. 2 for 8 from three. Carter was not able...
