Re: Why do we care about the Coronavirus?

I'll ask a counter question. If football is taking all this heat over concussions, how does boxing still exist at all? Or soccer? It has a high concussion rate too. I'd be all for banning it, but not because of that. LOL.... Also, I've had two concussions (that I know of) in my life. One of them wa...

Re: Why do we care about the Coronavirus?

I disagree. We seem to care about student well being when it comes to the virus, but we don’t when it come to CTE, voluntarily or not. I’m not saying we should not play football, but we closed everything to avoid a potential viral outbreak yet we don’t stop the game of football when we know for cer...

Re: Wichita State Restocks With 5 Players Committed In 3 Days

And now you know why I was hesitant to believe it was all on Marshall. Entitlement. The only issue I have is that they kept getting minutes. That is feeding the monster. Why, oh why do coaches cater to these Princesses? IT AIN'T WORTH IT!!!!

Re: Why do we care about the Coronavirus?

Stupid article. CTE is not being ignored. It's being overblown if anything, in my opinion. For every person diagnosed with it, there are hundreds not. If 300,000 kids play football each year and 2500 (hell even 5000) get diagnosed with CT later in life, that is better than the odds of them possibly ...

Re: God, faith, Church, bankruptcy and Covid 19

Possibly, but I side with Don Williams.... "Well I don't believe that heaven waits For only those who congregate." We can all make a difference whether we go to church or not. I won't get started on my rant on this subject, just that we all need to be good people and praying, regardless of whether i...

Re: Epic 2 overtimes KSU vs Xavier 2010 sweet 16

korn got a head coaching gig, so someone believes he has coaching talent. he won that job over other talented head coaches and assistants, many with familiar names. one who had expressed interest but not mentioned in the below linked piece was former missouri player kim english who is an assistant ...

Re: Epic 2 overtimes KSU vs Xavier 2010 sweet 16

When you're 6'9"+ it's not a good strategy to catch an entry pass, bend over and hold the ball at your waist. Or pump fake 2 or 3 times while the defense collapses 'round you. I'd be pretty confident that Korn, or anybody else, passed these tips along to Mak. It's too bad b/c he seemed like a consc...

Re: Epic 2 overtimes KSU vs Xavier 2010 sweet 16

I like the end of your post learnin but Curtis Kelly was far from inconsistent as a junior in 2010. Actually he was an extremely consistent player who had double digit games all the time. He played well vs Xavier but by no means played at some sort of magical level way above himself. I can agree wi...

Re: So long Cartier

My choice are dry erase markers. Cheap. A shoe is good too. A stool or chair is a different animal. My admin would certainly see it that way. D1 is a little different, but we agree on one thing. Bruce was pissed and Carti was the heart of it with his garbage attitude. 😂. Chalk was always good back ...

Re: So long Cartier

I'd wager the majority of basketball coaches have slammed a few clipboards. I've been around the game awhile and have seen it often. A clipboard is one thing. A stool or chair? More to it. Doesn’t make a difference what you slam or throw or break. You do it because you’re pissed off about what just...
