Re: Nijel Pack is the real deal ?

Really hard to say considering Sloan and Carti could both be back next year and we know that our staff generally prefers older players. Honestly, if Sloan and Carti are back, it might be more important for a guy like Kasubke or Miquel to be a starter at that wing spot left behind by Sneed. We have n...

Re: Brennon Scott

I have never cared one bit about how classes rank overall. That honestly makes no sense to me considering every team runs a different system and therefore recruits different types of players. If you run a system like ours, you need TE's and FB types that will never move the needle in recruiting rank...

Re: TCU Game Preview and Game Thread

I will concur with tmcats here, I really enjoyed watching DaJuan play last night, even though he can't shoot, he is fun to watch for me. He just looks like and moves around like a baller. I love X, but to me X, even though he is athletic, he does not look like a fluid athlete to me. He looks kind of...

Re: TCU Game Preview and Game Thread

There is an old saying: "When it rains it pours." This team just cannot catch a break. They seem to find a way to lose or get beat almost every night. My heart goes out to them. I have always been and will remain a foul weather fan. These guys need our support now more than ever. True fans will ste...

Re: TCU Game Preview and Game Thread

This team is what it is, the failures in previous recruiting classes have led us to this point. If you want to blame Bruce for those classes that is fair but I don't think any coach could do much better with the talent he currently has. This seasons failures are not about the staffs ability to coac...

Re: TCU Game Preview and Game Thread

Is it okay if I blame Bruce? I attempt to be balanced in my criticism as there are many factors involved in any loss or win. Tonight’s game was lost at the free throw line pure and simple. Yes, there were other factors. Don’t throw the ball away here, don’t miss the lay up there. Here a missed box ...

Re: Two Disastrous recruiting years have crippled this current team

You are right, those two empty classes are killing us. I suppose if we are going to say that our success with the 2019 and the 2020 classes are due to the exposure from the Elite 8 run and the Big 12 title, you would have to say our struggles in those two classes had to come from the poor years we h...

Re: coming soon to a gym near you ...

Hey, we are in the transfer portal era. Even if they sign on the dotted line you probably still have to continue to show them love and make sure they know you are still invested and not just waiting until they get to campus. Also could be other guys on the court he is looking at as well. But one of ...

Re: Dajuan Gordon, let's take a look

I agree with all of this. And you know what guys, Coach Weber tried to tell us this, but sometimes our optimism might get in the way. If you go back and re-listen to Coach's preseason presser after a few weeks of practice, he basically said DaJuan was workigng hard, but he said every day was new for...

Re: Tulsa Game Notes and Thread

I was just glad X wasn't injured. Very glad X wasn't injured, my pessimistic side figured he popped his hamstring, but honestly, as hard as he was playing, he may have just had cramps, or a slight tug of the hammy. Coach Weber said on the postgame that Murphy just banged his knee on another knee an...
