Re: Welcome Coleman

Of course the players will talk about their NIL deal. Every place I’ve ever worked at had people talking about their income. Why would we expect these young adults to be different from older adults. And just like in the business world, If someone isn’t happy about their salary then they can go find ...

Re: Recruiting Thread

Yes KU has done this for years. It’s kind of a compliment in a way. It’s the same concept that Wendy’s uses to determine where to put a new store. They don’t do any marketing or population studies, they just locate across the street from a McDonalds because they know McDonalds has already done its d...

Re: How Many Games Will Colorado Win?

I don’t want either CU or NU to win their game. How about a double forfeit with a loss for both.

Re: How Many Game Will Notre Dame Win?

8 straight home games ?!?! With only FSU as the team that they could lose to. Only 3 away games and pud due is a layup.
I see only 3 possible losses. Go aTm, USC, and Florida State. If we don’t win the conference we’ll be competing with nd.

Re: How Many Wins Will Will and Ohio State Have?

The saying was that Eric Dickerson had to take a pay cut going from SMU to the NFL.
There’s a 30 for 30 on ESPN called Pony Excess about the cheating going on at SMU and the SWC. It lead to the break up of the SWC and also the formation of the BIG12.

Re: Bill Walton - Rest In Peace

So true SCKS. Mine was aggressive and those are the ones that are usually fatal if not caught in time. Had I skipped that year’s exam and PSA blood test it would have spread before we knew about it and most likely I’d be dead. I get it, nobody wants to have that exam. But think about which is worse,...

Re: Bill Walton - Rest In Peace

I’m alive today because of the PSA blood test. The regular exam, that we all hate, didn’t catch it. But the PSA score was higher than the year before and got the doc taking a deeper look.
Too many men dying of prostate cancer when a simple blood test could catch it.

Re: Congrats to Will Howard

Half the people I meet here in Florida are transplants. It seems there are watch parties down here for every P5 (or is it 4) school. The Florida natives are either Florida or FSU fans. Nobody cares about Miami. UCF and USF are building their fan bases. There’s a saying down here about the best thing...

Re: For Summer Discussion - Should TAM Join The Big 10?

I agree STL. The sec and big will eventually eat their own. The sec has a few bottom feeders but at least half of the big are bottom feeders. Those schools will eventually get booted or have their revenue reduced to half of the peers. Do we join that ? In the past I would have said yes but I’m not s...

74 - 77 I attended K-State and I worked 3 different jobs during the school year and a day and a night job during the summer to pay for it If I didn't, I wouldn’t be able to pay for the next semester’s tuition and the first month rent. Tuition my freshman year was $154 and you could take up to 20 hou...
