Re: KSU vs ISU

Great game by the Cats. I’ve watched a lot of Klieman football over the years. I’m elated for the success his team had this year. The drive in the fourth quarter was classic. Run the ball and eat clock, watch the opponent slowly fade away as they realize the inevitable. The comments by some on here ...

Re: #1 problem from today's game

I think the team was marginally ready. The first play touchdown probably hurt in the long run. Perfect play call and execution resulted in an easy touchdown and then the team went into coast mode.

Skyler needs to settle down in the pocket. Hopefully the coaches can help him.

Re: Blocking

Given that Klieman is all about spitting varies, it's a bit surprising that none of the frosh got caries even after Gilbert/Brown hobbled off the field at varying times vs. OU. I suspect that with three senior running backs and not much between them and the freshman that the decision has been made ...

Re: wonder if ck will put the boys in all whites?

Anyone who went all white against NDSU got pummeled. I don’t think so.

Re: Cats 7 1/2 point dog at Miss State

Despite playing far weaker teams, K-State is still ranking pretty low in sacks and tackles for a loss. I know it's nitpicking, but this could be a concern if the D-Line is not getting enough pressure. Some of it could be the offense the teams were running, but these negative plays are important to ...

Re: My last post

If we are truly going to run the diamond backfield, which we are according to reports, we need more than 1-2 D1 ready backs. This offense keys on the DE's positioning and the backs have to be able to arc and block, run pass routes (even "go" routes), and run between the tackles. I have a weird hunc...

Thanks. I thought maybe he would be coaching special teams since Seiler was already coaching D-Line.
At NDSU Klieman had separate coaches for the dtackles and dends.

My guess is Miami. But this makes me think...who is our QB coach? Is it the same guy that coached Wentz?
No. He stayed at NDSU.

Re: Coaching Staff

“My take is that NDSU fans are bitter about other schools poaching their coaches with bigger paychecks and will trash KSU any chance tbey get, it’s human nature” Most NDSU fans don’t feel that way. We know we are the biggest fish in a small pond. We wish we had the resources and the invite to move t...

Re: Coaching Staff

NDSU alumnus and longtime KSU fan. Both of my kids have degrees from KState. I’ve seen the Cats beat Texas, Nebraska and Miami among others. When I saw some of those teams on the field pregame I was sure there was no way in Lawrence that the Cats could beat them. Then they did. That told me stars an...
