Re: For Tang, NIL is a two way deal
That same article also says NIL can't be tied to an athlete enrolling at a particular school or being pay for play and we see how that has worked out. As reported by Yahoo!Sports, the policy appears more rigid in regard to “prohibitions related to pay for play, impermissible offers and inducements o...

Re: Taking stock and dreaming about Cats 2024-2025 seasons
It's good that they are providing something for the western Kansas fans, but why are they charging $5-$10 for a practice? Just let the fans come in free and get as many as you can.

Re: #20 Zona at #14 K-State
Predictions for our first offensive possession tonight. Do we:
1. Run up the middle, run up the middle, pass to DJ in the flat or,
2. Pass to DJ in the flat, then run up the middle, run up the middle?

Re: David Castillo era begins
Redding did transfer to St Johns and didn't really do much there. Tyrone Ladson transferred to A&M and became an all-league player, if memory serves correct. Both were NY guys brought in by Reiner, who left when Hartman flirted with O-State and then changed his mind and decided to stay at K-State

Re: Welcome to Manhattan AJ!!!
I hope AJ enjoys his visit and ultimately decides K-State is the place for him. Our coaches all seem to love basketball and young people and have a great enthusiasm and energy that would make playing for them not only a great basketball and life learning experience, but also a lot of fun. I expect w...

Re: UConn to Big XII????
I did a spreadsheet a few years ago when the Big 12 announced they were considering expansion options. UConn ranked as one of, if not the best options, with the exception of non-Big 12 quality football and football stadium, and the geographic fit. Now that geography is not a detriment, it seems, UCo...

Re: Coleman Hawkins Appreciation
I think it's obvious why Hawkins is being discussed. His price tag is what it is, he was the last piece and one of the last big names from the portal, he is a multiple positional, multi dimensional player, he is experienced from a good team, he has been a strong contributor there but there is the fe...

Re: Coleman Hawkins Appreciation
Also, Cory asked him, from what he has seen of his team so far, what they need to improve. 1. Bigs need to set physical screens and help to create advantages. 2. Basketball IQ. He said this is done through film study and talking basketball with teammates. 3. Get better at shooting 3's. He thought we...

Re: college football playoff ...
Glad to see the projection is that the entire season will leave us with three auto bids for the Big 12, ACC, and highest Group of 5 champs, with all of the at-larges filled with SEC and Big 10 teams, along with Notre Dame. Then the SEC can tout how great they are because they get so many of the play...

Re: Coleman Hawkins Appreciation
I don't see how Coleman would be a complete bust, barring some type of significant injury, unless his performance ends up with him being considered a bust relative to his salary. That being said, I agree with TM. I think he will be the team leader, voice, set the tone, the alpha dog.
