Re: i'm surprised the lost revenue is this low ...

Our economy is going to take such a hit that only the elite will be able to attend sports. The average person won’t be able to afford the high priced tickets. And another poster talked about people no wanting to be in crowds. How many fans are 50+ and in a more vulnerable category? All this talk abo...

Re: So long Cartier

Hold on ... Hold on...going pro? Like in Japan or something? He was horrible this year. Our studs from two years ago aren’t even on an NBA team are they? These agents put illusions of grandeur in these kids. Plus Coronavirus is going to put a big dent in athletics. I wouldn’t be betting a profession...

Re: The Force

I may be be vilified but honestly I think that we probably need to be pumping more money into sciences than college sports and professional sports. We as a country were woefully prepared for this pandemic yet we have massive amounts of revenue that go to athletes, performers, and actors than scienti...

Then the kids bring it home to their parents/grandparents. K-State and my kids' local schools are on spring break this...

Lease enlighten me to any other coach in the big 12 that has won a championship with mostly 2-3 star players? I think that last years team and the year before over-achieved with the talent level that was recruited. Outside of Dean was there another top 100 player on that roster? Texas Tech might be ...

Re: This year is inexcusable

Was talking to a coach the other day of a highly ranked kansas team with like 3 d1 players. Basically he didn’t even get contacted - it’s the summer AAU coach - and basically the shoe companies bagmen drop the bags of cash on the doorstep of the recruit - they all live in section 8 housing and carry...

KState now is the “easy win” on everyone’s schedule - from first to worst in one year...has that even happened to a team in the history of Big 12?
