Re: Recruiting Thread

If Edwards is chasing NIL, he'll likely end up at A&M. If he's chasing a non toxic atmosphere, surrounded by high quality people, with a sold out stadium and a high chance at a conference title, he will come to Manhattan.

Re: Farmageddon 2025 in Ireland?

Note to athletic department.... Make sure you keep begging for NIL money from those local business you're stiffing with this deal. Sure, we get an extra $1.5 million for the athletic department, but does that outweigh the losses for your local businesses and potential for pissing off NIL donors? May...

Re: Recruiting Thread

Considering we have good list of running backs currently I think the coaching staff needs to pursue Dylan with a distinct method. I would be all welcoming with open arms even with his past of looking for greener pastures; however, any NIL package is an "earned" not "given" mentality. I think we hav...

Re: Jake Clifton

I wonder how well Snyder would have done if he had to deal with the portal. He had success developing walk ons and filling out personnel gaps with JUCO players. Not well, imo. I wouldn't either. Straight nonsense. It's why guys like Snyder, Saban, etc... are out and guys like Coach Prime have jobs....

Re: Hope Clifford and Khalif enjoy their visit

Talk to me when they sign. I'm so uninterested in the recruiting process since the wild west has taken over. I want us to be good, but I don't have enough shits to give about who is visiting. I've got better things to do with my time than salivate over this craziness. I'll care more when we are play...

Re: Recruiting Thread

Trouble maker may not be the best choice of words but a kid who commits and then reneges on those commitments again and again is not doing anyone a favor. If he comes here other promising backs may transfer. If history is a guide he may soon be gone too, leaving us in worse shape then when he signe...

Re: This isn't supposed to happen to K State

I never bought into the "poor us" mentality that so many KSU fans have, but it is a thing. Hope we can get past it. It drives me crazy.

Re: goings-on at other football programs ...

If you know anything about coaching and building a program, you know this ridiculous experiment in Boulder is going to end badly. Deion Sanders doesn't care about developing players. He cares about being in the spotlight, himself, and his sons. That's it. All these people that bought his BS last yea...

Re: Portal

Great pickup, but won't mean squat if we don't have knock down shooters and guards that can get dribble penetration. Deb Patterson's biggest failure was not getting a point guard that could penetrate and dish. That costed her a shot at a national title. Ohlde, Wecker, Mahoney, and Koehn were great ...
