Re: Facilities

Oldest is going to KSU next fall. Tried like hell to get him to look at other institutions, but since we took the kids to football games since they were very little, couldnt talk him into anything else. Good thing is, he is looking at having some decent scholarships, but still going to have to get t...

Re: Texas Game Thread and Notes

Ive had said from the start, Sloan needs to be the PG. Period. Carti is just to unpredictable. Mike can't handle it. Sloan is the only true PG on the team. This was another terrible recruiting mishap. Sloan is not an all conference player, but is the best PG you have. Play him.

Re: NCAA Moves Toward Immediate Eligibility for All Transfers

All it does is open the juinor class up for transfers imo. Freshman and sophomores could leave and sit without really hurting them especially if they hadnt used a redshirt. Juinors were basically stuck. You already had graduate seniors moving around all over the place. So, I don't know if it will re...

Re: Dean gets his number retired

THe next morning he went and watched his cousins in some rec bball in a nearby town and ended up signing autographs and photos and such. Hope he keeps healthy and has a long career. A great ambassador and someone to look up to for the local youth.

Re: Recruiting Thread

Good athlete, smart kid. WOn the 300 hurdles last year due to the Lambert kid falling down on last couple hurdles. Know his dad well. Should help in the special teams area in a couple years as he gets stronger would be my guess.

Re: This year is inexcusable

Im not saying we should fire him at all. He has earned some time, but two more years any where close to these performances, and it is time. And it isnt luck that is causing this, its poor dumb play. Poor shot selection, poor passing, and poor post play, the list goes on. Hopefully in this next group...

Re: This year is inexcusable

I wonder if Chester Frazier and Shane Southwell could see this coming and was part of the reason they left Southwell was looking for a step up in coaching, He had to move. Chester is who we are missing to be honest. I think he held those guys accountable and had great repore with those guys. Lots o...

Re: Recruiting Thread

We need a scorer and it's a great fit if you sell them we need scorers and we are going to show you how to play great defense. Its about how you sell it. Be frank about we just dont have great scoring players right now. WE have some dudes coming in and that he could put us over the top. Sell it. Qui...

Re: Baylor Game Notes and Thread

Its a balance. If you are going to talk hard nose defense and not pressure, that doesnt work. Soft defense and shooters will kill you and gives too easy of entry passes to the posts. Most good teams play up in your face defense. That's what has carried Weber and Martin before him to win. I would bet...

Re: Xavier Kelly

I think it would be hard pressed to find a better place for a DT to transfer into as we have a gaping experience hole at that spot.
