Re: New 2020 Commit - Keyon Mozee

Speed, playmaker, always good to have those kinds of kids on the team. Nice pickup

Re: Congrats to Henderson and Southwell!

It’s a good story with Henderson, that any Wildcat fan would like. However, I still wish we could have brought in somebody with strong recruiting ties that can help Weber more than the current staff has been able to do. I understand the Loyalty aspect, but still, Weber needs help recruiting & signin...

Re: Recruiting Thread

Wouldn't be a bad pickup, to give a redshirt to for 2019. His shot is low and slow. But hopefully the staff can change and work with him on that. But he has good size for a guard, seems athletic, and looks to have good handles. Definitely some potential.

Re: Recruiting Thread

I'm okay with taking a flyer on a guy that has potential and seeing if they can live up to it, as long as the staff also can transfer them out after a year if they realize they aren't a Big 12 caliber player.

Re: Grill Commits to ISU

This statement may sound weird..... I like our incoming recruits, but dang, our recruiting is just not good. We just have a hard time closing when there are 3-4 other schools in the mix.

Re: Sloan commits to KSU

SNW needs more time before he should be getting big minutes. He flashed greatness every once in a while and his defense improve a lot towards the end of the year. But his offense still leaves a lot to be desired. SNW will be good in time, but hopefully the addition of Sloan will help ease the burden...

Re: Shadd and Love

Truth is... most of the bigmen still available right now may not be any better than Love or Shadd. If we can't find someone who we think is better, than don't sign a bigman. Just go with Love and Shadd and hope they improve enough to be backups that can get minutes in meaningful game and hold their ...

Re: Sloan commits to KSU

The fact that we have been actively recruiting TWO point guards makes me wonder if someone else may possibly be transferring. I hope not. We'll see if they actually take two if Grill wants to come to KSU. I think Sloan and Grill are players with very different skill sets, so I would not be opposed ...

Re: Update on Grill and

Sloan announced he's a 'Cat. https://www.kansas.com/sports/college/big-12/kansas-state/article230056229.html I don't know where that leaves us on scholarships for Grill. We had Brown, Wade, Stokes and Trice depart, and now we have 4 commits. Are there any other open scholarships, or does this mean ...

Re: Recruiting Thread

What Weber needs, assistant coaches that can close out recruits better FOR him. Weber rarely gets his first choice recruits. That's both good and bad for him. Shows he can do more with less.. but also, he could definitely improve if he wasn't so limited in his recruiting. And i'm saying that, even t...
