https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GH1wY3_aoAAo6Hu?format=jpg&name=medium There's something you don't see every day. Good for the UA president. After 20+ years in the corporate world, it has been my experience that a gesture like this by the head of the organization is nearly always followed by a similar ...

Re: minutia ...
interesting that two bitter rivals would come together fishing nil waters in this manner. i know klieman has expressed great respect for leipold since he was hired. so their mutual admiration clearly has something to do with the event happening. can't see bill snyder ever being part of such a thing...

Re: do you watch wbb beyond k-state or just men's?
I don't watch much NCAA men's or women's basketball outside of KSU. I really enjoy NAIA level games for most of the reasons TM listed in the original post. It's just more enjoyable to watch, pure basketball.

these two conferences care only about the game itself, about all members, from coast to coast, yale to stanford, army to navy, always the greater good. nothing to be concerned with here. Re: Officiating - Macro Discussion
The physicality of the game today most definitely makes reffing more difficult. Don't know what the answer is. Maybe call the game according to the rules, instead of allowing the players to get away with more and more and more... This was a point of emphasis a few years back, but it was quickly aba...

Re: minutia ...
nah, i don't want to stop seeing k-state compete with the top end, deere. I totally get what you're saying, but just to be a little contrary... Should KSU start competing against NFL teams too? That's the real top end, and with the ability to buy players, the top money teams aren't much different t...

Re: Is Arrowhead Stadium ICONIC?
I’m not a Chiefs fan, but through the years I’ve occasionally had free tickets offered to me, so of course I went. I don’t know about iconic, but as a neutral observer, I can say it’s a very good place to watch a game. Easy ingress and egress. Good access to concessions and restrooms. Not a bad view...

Re: Every Touch by DJ Giddens in the Pop Tarts Bowl
DJ reminds me just a little bit of Jim Brown. Not a juke machine, but shifty enough to slip tackles. Big and strong enough to run through DBs who don’t use good technique. No quit at all. If there’s a yard to be gained, he’s going to try.
