Re: Welcome Oumar Ballo to K State
When I saw the title thread, I thought he had committed to us. :) I am glad we are able to get him to visit, but there will be plenty of competition for him. We'll see. Maybe he will get here and fall in love with Manhattan, K-State and the basketball program. Dang it! I also was momentarily excite...

Re: Bad News - Former Voice Of The Wildcats Greg Sharpe Has Cancer
Strange, I have not seen him or listened to him in years. Guess he has gotten older (as all of us have). I was really sad when he stopped announcing for K-State, he was one of the greats! Hope his cancer is something that can be treated.

FBI:Most Wanted "Fouled Out" "Central Kansas University"
Anyone else happen to see last night the "FBI:Most Wanted" show on CBS? The plot revolves around a scheme to pay college basketball players to play for "Central Kansas University", before NIL was allowed. In the latter half of the episode the characters referred to the school as "CKU". Some details ...

Re: Tomlin
I find the attempts of certain posters to sling mud onto Jerome Tang, apparently motivated by their continuing infatuation and obsession with Bruce Weber, extremely bizarre.

Re: Tomlin
Wow, so the embers had all but died out on this fire, then Linton does an interview and dumps a big can of gas onto it! Why the hell would he do that? I had moved on as most people have. Previously I gave Linton the benefit of the doubt, assuming he had info he couldn't share, that Tomlin had done s...

Re: Portal 2024
I'm not upset by this at all. Cam led the team with 101 turnovers. Every time he drove in, I expected a turnover..and usually got one.jeffmax26 wrote: ↑March 21st, 2024, 1:19 pmCam Carter is the first Cat to enter the portal.

Re: Reflections
I agree to some extent with some of the OP's points. I liked Bruce Weber and was strongly rooting for him to succeed and continue as our coach. He had to deal with a lot of adversity, such competing with KU even though they were cheating like crazy. He was plagued by injuries (boots galore, although...

Re: Thanks team.
Strange season. Some great things happened: 3 wins over Top Ten teams, a win over KU, a record-setting 7 Overtime wins. With a couple exceptions, the team played very well in Bramlage (15-3), played poorly in neutral site games (2-3), and were downright awful playing in opponents' home arenas (2-9 w...
