Re: Kite's Aggieville Draft House

Spent hour upon hour in Kite's solving world problems and playing pin ball. One time the ball drained and I gave the top of the glass a two handed, frustrated whack. Just as the glass piece broke kite came walking by. Uh, oh. Banishment? Work a week of Sundays to pay of the breakage.? Kite just look...

Re: How Many Scholarships/Transfers can KSU Have?

tmcats, having reviewed the past season in my mind it just amazes me that if we had the center position filled with someone
who could have averaged 10 points and 10 rebounds a game. He didnt need to be Wilt Chamberlain, but a solid center would
have completely changed the result.

Re: Question about (Semi) Retiring to the Flint Hills

Toledo, Your mentioning land being $10000 an acre caught my eye, We moved to a small town 25 miles north of Dallas and Ft. Worth in 1987 and bought acreage with home and barn. At the time the land next to us was for sale. It was 10 acres for $100,000. I so wanted to buy it, but had like zero dollars...

Re: Just another worn out, tired excuse about K-State's geography

Why is everything an excuse. Sometimes things are just facts and there are always obstacles to be overcome. I love K-State but those who like city life may find it lacking. However, when going to college and playing sports I don't think boredom will be an issue. Great college town and that is what ...

Re: DJ Johnson - Executive Director

My buddy and I waylaid D.J. after a TCU game in Ft. Worth. He was just getting on the bus and the pizza was probably getting cold. But, he stayed talking with us and was just a terrific person. Very congenial and warm.

Re: OU at KSU

Whoever is the next coach they better get on the stick with some decent recruits.

McGuirl gone. Smith gone. Which leaves absolutely no one to get a rebound from the three, four and five position.

Re: A Tip Of The Hat To Baylor

wildcat engineer... Your comment about tennis got me to remember back in the lates 70's I went to our neighborhood tennis/swim complex to perhaps pick up a game. Was really into playing and watching tennis on TV back then. Well, I got there and there were only four guys playing on center court. The ...

Re: Cats vs Red Raiders

I absolutely shudder when Miguel has the ball in his hands. Whether he is dribble driving to the basket and just throwing it up hoping against hope most of the time the ball has zero chance of ever going in. He finds himself open a lot. Probably because making one three-pointer in a season doesnt ex...
