Re: Help is on the way

Give me the stud 5* who everybody has to pay attention to. Makes all the players around him better. I mean really, you get a 5* are you going to have a bunch of 2*'s around him?

Re: Stand up

PULL UP JUMPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Solves a lot of problems. NIght after night after night I see the same damn thing. Wide open lane to the bucket, change your line to run into somebody then flop on the floor like you've just been hit with a .357 and beg for a foul. SHOOT THE DAMN LAYUP!!! Or like last ni...

Barstow High School is actually located on State Line Rd south of 435 in KC. Right across the street is a housing sub-division whose residents include George Brett.

Re: Stand up

I don't subscribe to the Eagle. Can't keep track of what I can read and can't. KC Star is pay for me I know and it's the same bankrupt company. Kansas State basketball coach Bruce Weber shared some critical words about the officials that worked the Wildcats’ 69-62 loss against Texas Tech last week. ...

For those who are wanting Weber to stand up to referees, there's this.

Re: Baylor v ku

Not to argue but I'd be happy shooting layups, dunks and wide open 3's. They're doing something right to get that to happen. Wouldn't it be sweet to just have a decent 5? You're missing my point totally. Of course shooting layups, dunks, and wide open 3s is awesome. I'm saying no one in the big 12 ...

Re: Baylor v ku

They've attempted the 2nd fewest 3s in the league and their overall FG% is ridiculous. It's more a product of facing poor defenses and getting layups, dunks, and WIDE open 3s. Again I could be wrong but I believe they will be knocked out by someone with the size and athleticism to challenge Azubuik...

" they are hesitant to put up a shot knowing that each possession is critical."

What was it Yogi said? "Half of the game is 100% mental"? If you're not confident in your shot, odds are it won't go.

Re: Mercury Article on Kaosi Eseagu

Look. If this guy is physical, that's a good start. Most of our bigs have either been undersized, but physical, or the right size and not physical. Stephen Hurt and Mak both have good size, but both were soft in the paint. DJ and Gip were physical, but could have used a couple more inches. If we ge...

Seems like sooner or later KU's dirty laundry is going to start affecting their recruiting. Probably later...if ever.
If the FBI gift-wrapping a case for the NCAA isn't good enough, it's never going to happen. I say cheat away.
