Re: alternate lids saturday?

I'm one of those older generation (over 60) guys and I love the retro look. It gets the kids excited and it reminds me of how far we have come. I'm looking forward to seeing us play good with this look for a change. You can't change the past by ignoring it so we may as well embrace it and show every...

Re: WR question

We need to run more stacked WR formations. That is what most teams without elite WRs do to beat press man coverage. Spreading our WRs across the line of scrimmage is inviting a defense to press man cover us. We can be successful if we scheme better with what we have.

At 7:38 p.m., lightning struck again. 8:08 is now the soonest we start back up.
Looked at the radar and it's moving away. Now lightning clear. Your estimate should be close.

Re: wowzer, oSu game on espn plus ...

I thought ESPN+ was only for tier 3 rights games. Since when is a conference game a tier 3 game? I sense the Big 12 was victimized by an ESPN bait and switch in signing this contract. I plan on taking advantage of the 7 day free trial and then cancelling after the game is over. I wonder how many tim...

Re: What’s with the lack of praise for The D

Dishon and Mittie controlled the middle of the line and the DEs were getting consistent pressure. The game clinching play was Sullivan hitting the QB and killing his momentum in a death spiral. I think he gets the 1st down on that leap without the hit from Sullivan. Great job D!!

Re: Okie Lite and Charlie Dickey

Didn't we set a yards per carry record last year? If not it was a very respectful average and indicative of a very good line. The problem was that we had way too many negative run plays and pass plays that took too long resulting in sacks. I believe the cause was an unimaginative offense that allowe...

Re: Week 1 Depth Chart

Gill ahead of Knowles at WR is a surprise and disappointed that Taylor can't make the 2 deep. On defense, Ball OR Walker tells me that Reggie's injury put him a bit behind of where we need him to be.

Re: NFL Rookies

Barnes also fumbled after his 1 pass catch. We don't see him in practice but his 1st game action looked bad.

Re: trice

Just as disappointing to me about Trice as his free throw shooting has been his play around the rim. We know he's not a shooter, and wasn't recruited as a shooter, but if his offensive game inside of 5-7 feet were strong, he'd be getting more playing time. For being the leaper and athlete that he i...
