Re: Encouraging...

We still know very little on the Brown injury, correct? Therefore Ervin may be in line for a bunch of work. Gilbert is still good but has to get the ball security in line. Trotter has been very underwhelming so I think Ervin might be #2 this Saturday? I liked his burst in very short sample size last...

Re: I hate bye weeks. Are we getting better from here on????????????

I’ve seen the stay on schedule thing from multiple people and while it sounds right, I’m not so sure it applies to our struggles so far. I’d have to do research but I feel like we’ve been horrible on 2nd/3rd and short where technically were on “schedule.” As we’ve talked about, the lack of QB runnin...

Re: Is the Sky Falling?

seems to me, fans need to take a breath. we have a great, seasoned coach who has been here for all of five games. he inherited some talent, yes, but a lot of holes, including losing his top two receivers (maybe three) and best linebacker through no fault of his own. recruiting is the lifeblood, the...

Re: Is the Sky Falling?

Major’s point about a running QB is what my friends and I discussed after the game. Even most of the absolute studs passing still have a running component - Fields, Tua, even Lawrence I saw running against UNC in a tight game. Therefore a proven average passer, with 0 current run threat, is not goin...

The Freshman Series

This was a veryyy interesting series in the game and clearly shows us what CK thinks about the talent he inherited and frankly the leadership (or lack thereof) that he inherited. It was mid 2nd quarter and the team that took the field contained Joe Ervin, Josh Youngblood, and Chris Herron. Herron ev...

Is the Sky Falling?

Epics post on the game thread made me wonder, is the sky falling? I haven’t felt this way leaving a home game (not vs OU) since 2008. I’m trying to find something to hang my hat on and I’m having a very tough time. I realize I didn’t experience the really sad days of KState football like some poster...

Re: Looks like we are on ESPN2

I dont think the coaching staff is to blame. The cupboard was left pretty bare for Klieman. Just gotta be patient and let them get some guys in here that fit. Thompson is not a great QB and no where near where a RS Jr. with 20+ starts should be. He is what he is at this point. A QB who cant see pas...

Very poor play. Could be injuries but our LT was better 3 years ago.

They aren’t bad run blocking though.

Re: Was Baylor loading the box? D question

They didn’t load it up too crazy. KState is a very bad team with a horrendous OC.
