Re: It must be summer....more realignment talk
I am a K-State alum and fan. I would follow the cats even if they were Div III. I'm beginning to think I might prefer that...

Re: Have big bowls lost their luster due to NIL, players sitting out and transfer portal
So... the player is your employee? The player is not legally an employee of the NIL holder. But like any contract, payment could be subject to conditions. I understand the player is not an employee " legally." Still, it is kind of a distinction without a difference. I guess I'm still struggling wit...

WEngineer, when I was in school from 60-64 the Jardine Apartments were built and in biz. I had a married friend, a football player, who lived in Jardine and I want to visit them often. I don't know when they were build, but it was before 1960. I know Jardine was there when I started my freshman yea...

Re: The state of Colorado
Am I the only one that remembers that in 1967 Colo State was coach Vince Gibson's first game and win at K-State? It was in Ft. Collins and followed two zero win seasons. In 1966 there was a 3-3 tie with KU which was probably worse than a loss. Both coaches lost their jobs... Yes, I'm that old. I was...

Re: It must be summer....more realignment talk
As a 40 year resident of Colorado, I'm sure CU thinks they are to good for the Big XII. They would have to feel real panic to come back. Conference re-alignment and no limits NIL are killing my enthusiasm for major college sports. I'll always be a K-State fan even if they wound up playing in Divisio...

Vince Gibson should be added to the list of "giants." Without him there would not have been the bowl to add to. He showed a glimpse that K-State football could be "big time."

I respectfully disagree. I don't think it has anything to do with the feeling of 'inferiority". They're just participating in the tradition. A tradition of hate because of cheating and snobbish behavior. Waving the wheat while bashing agriculture at all costs for years. Pure hypocritical behavior c...

Re: here we go again ...
...It's possible, depending on how things shake out, that some or all of the remaining Big 12 schools will be in one of those three conferences 3-5 years down the road. My feeling is - snowball's chance in hell. I'm for letting the "big boys" go become semi-pro minor league for the NFL and the rest...
