Cats win 10th straight against KU

It was an ugly game; indeed it seemed that perhaps whoever made the last mistake would lose. Ultimately it turned out that KU quarterback Peyton Bender would fumble with 20 seconds to go while driving in Kansas State territory to secure the win for the Cats.

The game was marred by a series of mistakes by both teams, some more bizarre than others. At one point, a Jayhawk picked up a flag thrown by a ref, stuffed it into their jersey, seemingly trying to make the officials forget they had thrown it.

Alex Delton started for the injured Skylar Thompson, and performed well enough for the win, including rushing for the game winning score. Alex Barnes rushed for 123 yards, and a couple of scores, putting him over the 1,000 yard mark for the season.

The Cats improve to 4-6 and need to win out against Texas Tech and Iowa State to become bowl eligible.
