Cats Win in Historic Comeback

The game started in a familiar fashion, with the Cats down 20-3. In what would ultimately become the biggest comeback in school history, K-State beat Bob Huggins’ squad at West Virginia 71-69.

Led by Barry Brown’s season high 29 points, K-State’s offense turned up the heat in the second half, at one point sparking a 17-0 run.

With the win, K-State avoids falling to 0-3 in conference play, instead giving that honor to West Virginia.
