Cats Drop Big XII Opener to Texas

Kansas State lost to Texas in Manhattan 67-47 Wednesday night. The game was close for much of the game, until 6:00 mark where Texas got hot and extended a double digit lead thanks for a 13-1 run by the Longhorns.

The Wildcats were missing Dean Wade for the fourth game in a row, as well as Kamau Stokes. Makol Mawien led the Wildcat scoring with 13 points.
