Cats Battle Back, But Can’t Overcome Early Deficit in Lubbock

It took until the 9:13 mark before the Cats scored their first goal, and though they battled back to make it a single point game in the second half, ultimately they couldn’t overcome the early deficit and they fell in Lubbock 63-57.

The Cats defense continues to impress, but the shooting has to improve if they are going to make a mark this season. Overall, the team shot 33% overall, and 17% from three, a mark which was only as high as it was due to two last minute three pointers.
