A lot of folks weren't there. A lot of folks think KState poops 7, 8, 9 win seasons. My son wasnt born, but trust me, he has been educated on the 80s . I still don't think he understands how we were worse than we are now. LOL...
I remember we couldn't run anyone, anywhere inside the tackles. our most successful plays were the quick pass to a back in the flats and the dreaded DRAW!

when these are the featured plays of a team, it's gonna be a tough day.

of everything that's changed over past decades, the interior line play AND DEPTH on both offense and defense have been the biggest changes/improvements.

I would like to give a shoutout to the f'n beakers who tailgated next to us, assholes. First they partied in the aisle and people coming in had to almost run over them to get them to move so they could get to their parking spot. Then they decided to dump/spill beer in front of the door on our bus. They also went to the driver's side of our bus and dumped their pop out on the ground so they could mix their drinks. This meant that anytime we got off or on out of either side, we were tracking sticky shit in (guess it's time to clean the carpet anyway?). Then they kept running into the mirrors so I had to readjust them before we left. And they wonder why people can't stand them? I thought 1 guy was going to cry because he claimed some K-State guy flipped him off. But then again, the KSU people who normally tailgate on that side put their table up against the door so that we have to push their table out of the road to get in and out.

And their bench players were asking where Clemente's green card was during a game in Bramlage one year. And I heard they were shouting other racial epithets at him. And they wonder why K-State people can't stand them.

Our loge section had 3 KU fans that waved the wheat whenever KU got the lead. Made a big deal of it each time.

About 20 of us reciprocated toward the end of the game by waving the wheat goodbye.

two ku things i find very rich in irony: waving the wheat, most of them don't know the difference between wheat and cornbread; and second, complaining about officials, my god!

Yet KU fans make fun of K-State for being an ag school, yet they waive wheat

the greatest irony is that they stole the waving the wheat idea from Okie State

I had the same thought. A particular KU fan on WVU's Big 12 board comes to mind. :)

glad I checked back in. this thread took a turn for the better!

never fails to fascinate how folks can't see/understand that you 'get back what you give out'.
