Re: goings-on at other football programs ...

in my opinion NCAA rules, logic, enforcement equal many years of being an embarrassing joke. This movie clip is a good analogy for how the NCAA enforces the rules. The bluebloods get a free pass from the NCAA, but the same NCAA will go out of their way to make an example of the non-bluebloods for t...

Re: RJ Jones - GONE

It makes sense that it would be RJ's decision. He will most likely go to a lower-tier team such as a North Texas or UT-Arlington as his stats are not going to swoon Power 5 teams. If playing time is what he is after, this is a good decision for him. After watching the highlights of McDaniel and CJ ...

Re: goings-on at other football programs ...

Parker Thune @ParkerThune Just spoke to Dylan Edwards, who tells me he's very thankful for the Colorado staff and fanbase. He simply felt that "it was time for me to go and do my own thing." He's heard from Georgia, Texas A&M, Louisville, Kansas State, UCLA, Washington, Stanford, Nebraska and many ...

Re: RJ Jones - GONE

Yep. Came out this morning. As I mentioned in the portal thread, losing Jones bums me out more than losing Kaluma. It's not surprising, though, considering all of the guards we have been recruiting. Maybe the staff already knew that RJ was not coming back.

City of Manhattan Progress/Development

Years ago, there was a thread on a K-State fan website (It may have even been this site or the old Scout site) that discussed the changes going on in Manhattan (e.g., new stores, restaurants, hotels, etc.). It was nice to follow that since I was living in St. Louis at the time. With all of the chang...

Re: Portal 2024

Rutgers transfer center Clifford Omoruyi is visiting Kansas State on Wednesday, he tells @On3sports Joe Tipton Omonuyi and Battle will be visiting at the same time. Both played HS basketball in New Jersey. I think they are in the same class. I just saw where we will be playing St. John's in NYC nex...

Re: Kaluma and NBA

If that is the case, then best of luck to Kaluma in his future endeavors. Tomlin took the NBA "Three Hour Tour" also & got his evaluation, but decided to return to college. Never say never... True, but if you look at the wording of his Instagram post (see below), it tells me that he likely will not...

Re: Portal 2024

2024 Top-35 recruit Labaron Philon has requested his release from his National Letter of Intent to Kansas and will reopen his recruitment, a source confirms to @On3Recruits. These higher profile high school recruits may no longer be in the blue blood programs because blue bloods now want the experi...

Re: The Portal and Will Howard, is he looking for the best opportunity to gain 'NFL status'?

Sold to the highest bidder, I’m afraid. I hate this trend! If it wasn't for Avery trying to convince him to return to K-State, I would say that "sold to the highest bidder" is the most likely outcome for Edwards. Sure, he will look for a place where he can play right away, but at the end of the day...

Re: Hope Clifford and Khalif enjoy their visit

Talk to me when they sign. This is kind of where I am at. It is great that we are getting elite players on campus for visits. It gives us hope, but guarantees nothing in regard to if they will be wearing K-State purple next season. Let's hope the coaches can land the guys who will help us to be the...
